DIY Wine & Stemware Display

When my husband and I got married, we were lucky enough to  end up with a full set of red and white wine glasses, champagne flutes, and beer glasses. I knew that these items were too pretty to hide in a cabinet. So we set out to put together a proper home for all of it! Now I definitely have a new favorite part of the house!

This is a project that I am really proud of because it turned out so great! And we figured that if you ladies love wine and pretty stemware as much as we do then you might want to put together something similar in your own house!

Here’s how you do it:

1. Find your perfect wine buffet table. We checked out furniture stores, antique shops – everywhere and anywhere! This is where we keep all of our wine bottles, carafe, aerators, bottle chiller … whatever we need to prepare a great drink!
2. Pick up a couple of simple shelves. We chose ones with a finish that matched the buffet table but feel free to mix it up!
3. Get a few stemware racks. We found several at home good stores like Bed, Bath, & Beyond or World Market.
4. Screw the stemware racks to the bottom of the shelves.
5. Put the shelves up on the wall and start hanging the stemware!

Some things are just meant to be proudly displayed… you shouldn’t deprive them of that! What is your most recently completed DIY project and how did you do it?
